Virtual online learning

If you're under pressure to do more for less, then live online learning is a great option. Using Microsoft Teams, or any online meeting application you prefer to use, we offer the same high-standards as instructor-led classroom training, with the same level of interaction you would expect at a training venue.

However, some people still feel that some courses cannot be delivered in a virtual classroom environment. But we disagree, live online learning is ideal for both technical and end user training.

Benefits:
  • Reduced travel/costs
  • Flexibility
  • Follow-up support
Advantages:

The primary advantage is reduced travel costs, with the benefit of not having to spend time away from your office or home. This all adds up to minimal downtime. Because we can accommodate different time zones, location is irrelevant as long as you are online.

Finding time to attend an instructor-led training course might seem like an impossibility, however, online courses can be arranged to fit your schedule, from bite-sized two hour courses, up to two day courses.

How?

We typically host online sessions in Microsoft Teams, where attendees can see and hear the instructor, and the instructor can hear the attendees. Working together, side-by-side on computers.

To keep online course interesting, it has got to be interactive, therefore the trainer will regularly check on your progress, and you are encouraged to ask questions, whether in Teams chat or verbally, at any time during the training.

There's no need to subscribe to Microsoft Teams, as a free web app downloads the first time you join a meeting. Learn more

One to one training

Of all the training formats discussed so far, this offers the greatest flexibility and choice.

We will deliver a premium course whether the content is taken from our standard outlines or customised, including a bespoke course working on your own files.

Training can be arranged onsite, at a venue that is continent to you, or online.

Drop in surgery

When time away from the desk is critical, we can "drop-in" our trainers to your offices for consultations with your staff, on specific questions.

Sessions typically involve a maximum of two delegates at a time with an instructor, lasting around an hour each, and run over a day or morning/afternoons.

This enables key training issues to be resolved with a large number of delegates while minimising impact on working time, and increased efficiency.

Roll-outs

If you are rolling out software for a department, company-wide or at multiple locations, we have the training logistics to deliver.

We specialise in all IT upgrade roll-outs, whether upgrading to Office 365 or an in=-house bespoke application.

Floorwalking

Floorwalking allows your business the opportunity to have staff trained on their specific queries with minimal downtime from work. It is a perfect partner to other training formats such as IT roll-outs, classroom based training and eLearning.

This method of training provides the ideal opportunity to freely evaluate staff skills, allowing trainers to identify certain areas of a training requirement, increasing productivity even further with additional appropriate training courses.

Training needs analyses

Assessing training needs for yourself let alone colleagues and staff can be a tricky matter. The last thing you want is to arrange training that does not fulfill your staffs needs, so selecting the right course is key.

For this purpose, we can supply training need analyses forms to help with group assessments, and allowing us to recommend the right course and level.
