INTRODUCTION COURSE

There are two course levels in Publisher. The introduction course focuses on creating and amending publications with a variety of layouts and designs. You will learn how to add and manipulate objects including pictures, text boxes and tables, control formats and create charts, to create impressive publications.

You can use Publisher to create brochures, newsletters, greeting cards, and a host of other items. By selecting one of the predefined templates, all you will need to do is enter the text since the layout and formatting is done for you.

ADVANCED COURSE

This course focuses on creating and manipulating existing publications, from brochures to comprehensive newsletters. You will be able to quickly control the layout and content of text boxes across pages.

You will also get a greater understanding of the full life cycle of a publication from designing template schemes to using the Design Checker. Inserting Page Parts and customising a catalogue mail merge. It also looks at setting up a publication for print, whether by you or a professional printing company.
